My first novel 'Fixing John A Drink' was written after I felt the longing to read inspirational, positive books. I was truly fed up with the miserable films and books, depicting good characters making bad choices and ending up paying for it, the majority with their lives.

I always felt dejected and hopeless after watching those films. The last film like that was New Jack Swing' with that same old negative sad ending.

In this novel, Abigale searches for a better life and a brighter future, and through self-belief and determination, she makes it into one of Europe's top universities and meets the man of her dreams.  The only problem was that Abigale doesn't know anything about men.

I've decided to stick with love.... Hate is too great a burden to bare.
